A rainy Wednesday, it was one of those days which gave you a small inhale of the cool breath of Autumn only to quickly exhale the hot breath of Summer once again. Despite the wet, in-between weather outside, inside Aly from Blissful Baby Photography and I were preparing for our first Kansas City newborn session together as mentor and mentored.
Kennedy was a tiny, nine-day-old bundle full of snuggles and naps. With a beautiful head full of hair, she didn’t require any giant bows or flowers. She shined in the simplicity of delicate headbands, soft warps, and subtle pinks. While big sister and mom sat back and watched, Kennedy relaxed and napped while Aly taught me her tricks of the trade.
